Being an avid traveler, photographer and food fanatic, I decided to scour the nation from coast-to-coast in search of foods and dining destinations that I feel people should know about. Hit the Dish is growing to contain unique and incisive restaurant reviews from all regions and major cities in the United States. I also strive to get the inside scoop on recipes that top chefs at these restaurants use to make their restaurants outstanding.

Whether you’re pinching pennies or buying bonds, everyone needs a little luxury in their life.  Plus you gotta eat, right? Sometimes, you even want to go for an all-out splurge—but when you do, it had better be worth it!  So here at Hit the Dish I'm committed to finding you the restaurants and restaurant recipes that give you the best bang for your buck.

It could be the intense flavors and deep nutrition of a local, organic spinach and goat cheese torte, the mini hazelnut meringue that explodes in a puff of perfection, the perfect fresh-mint mojito to drown your troubles, or a chorizo nopalito burrito that proves life IS good—I'll tell you where to find it.
